The Metro Teacher Training Institute (MTTI) arose out of the desire to improve the quality of professional development available to early childhood educators. Emphasis is placed on delivering relevant topics and accurate, up-to-date information to teachers, classroom assistants, administrators and parents. Training sessions are designed to be informative, interactive and sensitive to the varied backgrounds and learning styles of adult participants.  All training is approved by the Office of Child Care, Maryland State Department of Education, approval #CKO 1763.

MTTI is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education to offer training in these Core of Knowledge content areas: Child Development, Curriculum, Special Needs, Community, Health, Safety and Nutrition, and Professionalism. All workshops are presented by experienced Montessori administrators and teachers.
